I really, REALLY like it when people find hidden or unused content in games. Debug modes, little test maps, commented out items. I love them all. Left 4 Dead 2 is no exception. Not only did some industrious modders find an unfound character model, they found an entirely new entity!
Typing the following block of code (PC version only, kthx) in the console will get you a little surprise.

That's right, Mr. Jimmy Gibbs Jr. in the flesh. his horrible, reanimated flesh. He's a beast, but he does come with a new batch of one liners from the main characters. Worth buying the PC version? What's that steam, you want my $50? Fine.

North American Nintendo fans rejoice! Today, Nintendo has announced that Club Nintendo is finally making it's way to the West. Club Nintendo, the Holy Grail of all things Nintendo, is a program in Jaoan that allows fans to earn points by buying Nintendo games, registering them, participating in surveys, etc. These points can then be traded in for what can only be described as some truly amazing swag. Western gamers were constantly left salivating over the many treats their Japanese counterparts were constantly getting their hands on and now they will be able to get them without resorting to exorbitant prices on ebay. Club Nintendo is expected to launch sometime by the end of this year.
As Pixel Poet told you earlier, a few of us attended the Spore Creature Creator hands on event last night. It was a blast and I brought along our trusty new video camera to record some of the fun. I didn't have my tripod, so you'll forgive the hand held style, but even so it gives you a good idea of what it's like to make your own creature with in the game's interface. Join Pixel Poet as he creates his creature, gives it a test run and even makes some babies (for the creature)!
