Knights In The Nightmare PSP Delayed, Comes With Free Game
It hasn't been long since we detailed the release of Knights in the Nightmare on PSP. It's going to be a while longer for those who want a taste of the bullet-hell-SRPG action, however, as Atlus has announced a few weeks of delay, pushing the game back to November 9.
Not a fan of disappointing its fans, Atlus balances out this bad news with a free gift. If you pick up Knights in the Nightmare, you'll also be getting the PSP remake of Yggdra Union, another strategy RPG with some interesting squad-formation mechanics. It's a fitting gift, too, since one of the new features of the PSP Knights is the ability to play as Princess Yggdra.
The two games share more of a connection than a character, too. They're part of a series known as Dept. Heaven, crafted by Sting Entertainment, who often publishes through Atlus. Before Yggdra and Knights, the first episode was Riviera - originally for the GBA and then later on PSP. The developers have shared that the fantasy-based worlds in their games share a common Asgard and underworld, so character crossovers are especially likely. The more you know!
Knights in the Nightmare is still shaping up to be an intense (and tutorial-heavy) experience on the PSP, and now there'll be a whole extra RPG experience thrown in for your trouble. Look for it on November 9!

Riviera was first released in Japan on the Wonderswan Color in 2002 actually, just an interesting little tidbit :D
Thanks, Bundt!
