E3 '10: Glee Karaoke Revolution

I knew that the merchandising machine for Glee was going to be working overtime, considering how popular the show has become. And a karaoke videogame seemed an absolute natural, so I wasn't surprised to see it at E3, and not at Konami's booth. As the next installment in the Karaoke Revolution series, Glee Karaoke Revolution is a Wii exclusive that is due out this fall/winter. They are planning to include 35 songs from the first season of the show, although a final track list has yet to be determined. A story mode takes you through the storylines and unlocks videos of the show and scenes from season one. When you sing a song, the video includes the performance footage of the tune from that episode, plus random extra footage of the show that's edited into it. Not sure why they didn't just run the actual performance from the show, but maybe they thought they needed to mix things up a bit. Also, I was told that there are going to be a few different play modes, including co-op and harmony, so you and your friends can form your own show choir in your living room, but oddly, the rep I spoke to seemed to think there was no versus mode where you and a friend can compete to get a better score. Unless they wanted to emphasize cooperation over combativity...
Oh, and if you're curious, I totally pwned Quinn's cover of The Supreme's "You Keep Me Hangin' On." And a warning, too: if you're a fan of the show, you know those girls love to hold those long power notes, so be prepared to lose your breath at the end of the songs!

omg i want this so bad
i want it in my home!
Why is this a Wii exclusive? This game could be so much better with the DLC, online, and camera features of the PS3/360.
