Brave Arms Brings FPS To Facebook

Brave Arms.png

Facebook games typically run the gamut from utterly useless to soul-crushingly addictive, but developer 3G Studios wants to introduce a new type of game into the mix: online FPS deathmatch. Brave Arms is the name of the game, and with a Sims-like art style the game doesn't look half bad. In fact, I'd be willing to say that it looks quite good.

There's no word on when it will be made available, but you can currently sign up for the Beta on the game's Facbook page. When the game is finally available, you will be able to compete online while earning points to customize your in-game avatar with new clothing, weapons, and the like. Think Battlefield Heroes without the war motif and the added pay structure.

Is this "Social shooter" going to be enough to pull you away from your current Facebook addictions (Scrabble for me)?
