Video: North Star Musou Gameplay
Adapting an anime/manga series into a video game isn't all that much of a big deal, but it's a rare, beautiful thing when the right series gets just the right treatment so that developers can create a game can deliver on all of the potential the series and interactivity can offer. From the look of this video, North Star Musou looks to be one of these extraordinary pairings. If you're unfamiliar with the name just take the over the top characters and mind boggling violence of epic 80's anime Fist of the North Star and pair it with the Dynasty Warriors Musou spin-off series and you'll have a good idea of what to expect. Being a Musou game, we probably shouldn't be expecting the greatest combat system around (remember that Gundam game they did?), but it might actually work this time. Besdies it's the first time in a long while that I've actually excited to play a game based on an anime series, not counting my recently acquired Venus Wars Famicom cart. North Star Musou is expected to be unleashed upon the PS3-owning Japanese public (and importers) in March of this year.

Heheh, very nice! I would love to see how this game does over in Japan. If only they could bring this game to North America.
Do you ever remember the NES game that came out ages ago? That was Awesome... next to the Golgo 13 games.
