Platinum Games Prepares For... Something
On the heels of Bayonetta's US release, developer Platinum Games has posted a countdown to something on their Japanese website. Could it be a new title or perhaps some other type of earth shattering announcement? Looks like we'll find out in about a week from now when the counter reaches zero.
Of course we'll have Bayonetta to keep us busy until then, but it's hard not to think about what the enigmatic developer could be up to next and what system is going to be graced with its presence. So far the group has been responsible for the Sin City-flavored MadWorld on the Wii and Japanese audiences have been treated to Infinite Space to rave reviews on the DS. With those three titles out the door the only semi-announced title left on Platinum's plate is a collaboration with Shinji Mikami, the man behind the Resident Evil and Devil May Cry (though I prefer to think of God Hand and P.N. 03 when I hear his name).
What this announcement could be is anyone's guess. Any of you dear readers care to predict the next move for this highly unpredictable developer?
