Nintendo Wii Goes 3-D!

Ever since I was a kid, I've been a sucker for 3-D anything. Movies, TV, comics... heck, I even loved my grandparents' antique stereoscope! So I'm more than a little intrigued by Majesco's announcement that they are developing a game for the Nintendo Wii entitled Attack of the Movies 3D. You'll play through six movie-themed worlds where you'll battle alien ships, underwater monsters and robots. The game will even come with four pairs of 3-D glasses for multiplayer!
"We all dream about being the hero in our favorite action movies," said Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations for Majesco. "Attack of the Movies 3D lets you live that experience out with a realism and dimensionality previously only found in movie theaters."
We'll see how this all turns out, but come on the idea of blasting away at zombies, monsters and robots with shotguns and laser cannons in 3-D is pretty effin' awesome. Of course, touting the branching paths makes me assume this is a rail shooter, but that's okay. They're obviously going for a 3-D movie experience, so it'll be like that... but now you can shoot back! Attack of the Movies 3D is currently scheduled for release in Spring 2010.

Disney's simulation of their resort ride "Toy Story Mania" is 3D, comes with a pair of glasses, and has been out, for at least a little while (a few weeks perhaps?).
Tho it wasn't anything impressive. But 3D always hurts my eyes.
