Love Now In Open Beta
That was quick!
After just shutting off the payment systems and pushing out his "26 Things I Want To Do For Open Beta" list, Eskil Steenberg has flipped the switch and ended alpha, opening the doors to his MMOG's open beta.
Just like the alpha, players who want to join in will have to buy 30-day tokens for 3 euros a pop.
Since Eskil says the game is now "feature complete," which is a different monster from "everything works," I will be digging into the beta myself in the coming weeks to write up a preview about the game for you guys. As he explains himself, Love is a vastly different MMOG than anything we've really seen before. I think that's where its strength lies, but obviously it's going to resonate differently with different folks.
