IGF 2010 Announces Finalists

2010 will see the twelfth annual Independent Games Festival being held at The Game Developer's Conference, March 9 - 13. With the passing into the new year, the IGF has announced its finalists.
There were 306 entries this year, which they note is a 35% increase from last year. This is certainly good news for us, and of course, the developers as they still receive feedback from the panel of judges even if they do not place as a finalist.
Of particular interest to myself, the Nuovo Award, which honors unconventional or abstract games, was judged by a smaller panel this year, separate from the main entrants.
This last category includes one of my favorite games of the past year, Today I Die, a poem with which you interact in order to explicate and move forward.
A full list of the finalists after the fold.
