Diablo 3 Resource Systems

With companies having many more access points to us beyond news sites and their own websites these days, it is becoming easier to release small blurbs like Blizzard did via Facebook about Diablo 3's class resources:
As you may be aware every class in Diablo III will have their own resource system. The Barbarian will use Fury; Witch Doctor, Mana; and Wizard, Instability. We also completed an early implementation of the Monk's resource system just before the holiday break, and that's continuing to undergo programming and visual refinement. It's a resource certainly fitting of a holy warrior.
While Blizzard has mentioned the discrete class resource system for a while, it is notable in that not only do they make a comment about their progress for the monk, but casually mention the wizard's previously unmentioned Instability, likely enhancing her glass cannon status. Of course, with such announcements come fear.
Diablo 2 is a game that certainly left its impact, and which still has players on Battle.net to this day. With vocal fans (of both the positive and negative variety), it is both heartening and intriguing to see what chances Blizzard is willing to take with its own franchises, and see what it has learned through its many years of developing for World of Warcraft in terms of resource management.
Therefore, instead of having a system that is limited, so it only allows for a single resource for all classes, the refinement of the genre and games as a whole is allowing us new forms of play that address different play styles instead of limiting them by less developed mechanic systems.

I used to be a diehard Blizz fan till WoW came along... I hope whatever it is they learned from WoW (mainly greed imo) they don't implament it on Diablo 3
Any news of exactly how these resources will work? Simply renaming Mana as Instability isnt going to be that impressive. I'm expecting something like the WoW Rogue's Energy to make an appearance but that isnt terribly exciting either. I still have some hope, after all they came up with the Death Knight resource, which differs enough from the warrior's rage to make it fairly interesting.
