Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary
Dear Diary,
It's almost time for Christmas! Jingle sent a letter this week warning of his coming, so I'd be ready. Maybe this year I'll have the patience to get more than just the one piece of furniture! In other news, I still suck at building snowmen, and another townsperson wanted to leave. Sigh...
There was a fishing tournament on Sunday, and I totally wasn't into it, even though everyone else was walking around with their rods at the ready. Fishing rods! God! Anyway, I caught a couple of sea bass and offered them up to Chip. One of them was 44 inches, which was enough to beat Octavian's 42.5 inch catch, and it put me in the lead. I got a claw-foot tub for my troubles, and the next day I found out that I'd won the whole shebang without barely trying! That's the best way to do it!
I was quite surprised when Stinky told me he was planning on moving out of Narnia. He always seemed so happy here. And I've been nothing but nice to him, since he's totally my type. I wish he'd change out of the creepy-looking Ab Fab shirt my bf designed and put in the store for everyone to wear, but whatever. I still don't want him to move. At least this time I was given the chance to try and convince him to stay. I also sent him a letter with a present/bribe attached, and the following day, again reminded him that I didn't want to see him going anywhere. And by the end of the week, it seems that his plans to leave have been put on hold. Hopefully!
Okay, this was just weird. Now that there's snow on the ground, it's easier to see the marks for fossils and gyroids. But when I dug one up this week, I got a rare mushroom, of all things! I thought the mushrooms ended when November did. Has this thing been sitting here since then and I've never seen it before? That seems unlikely, but in this town, anything's possible. It seems more likely than a mushroom growing in the frozen ground! Then again, the flowers never die in winter either, so who knows?
Once I noticed the holiday lights sparkling on the trees in Narnia, I decided it was time to don my gay apparel. Namely my festive hat, Jingle shirt and king's beard that combines to become my Santa costume. Nobody's fooled, but I feel like it's seasonally appropriate. I tried building a snowman (misshapen, natch!) so I could pose with it and the lights. I should make this my Christmas card!
Pascal swung by again, creepily standing on the edge of the bridge looking down into the water contemplating ending it all, and this time I had a scallop from the beach, so I was able to get a little something along with his kernel of "wisdom." Unfortunately, it was just a barrel, which I already had. Whatevs.
Last, but most definitely not least, at the end of the week, I got a lovely letter from my AC buddy Adrian, with the Japanese DLC included. It's a festive wreath! Just in time! I should probably put up my festive tree, and maybe swap out the Halloween furniture for the snowman set... eh. I'll get around to it... eventually.

do people really care about animal crossing anymore?
Yes, people still care about Animal Crossing and I always look forward to Wootini's updates.
Just because something doesn't interest you personally doesn't mean it has to be wiped out from the face of the earth.
obviously i still play.
