Wield The Hammer Of Infinite Fate In New Brütal Legend DLC

If you just can't get enough of Brütal Legend then you're in luck, new DLC for the game will be hitting December 17 with the Hammer of Infinite Fate pack. Unlike the last DLC for the game, this one will have a bit more impact on the single player experience. Three new costumes for Eddie can be worn to show off your metal fashion prowess, including a Mountain Man look, Black Metal, and Zaulia Threads, as well as four new paint jobs for Eddie's car, The Deuce. There's also four new upgrades for that valiant metal steed including the Eye of Sorrow, the Disgorger, the Coiling Maw, and the Oculus of the Lost. The last of those upgrades will be particularly useful, functioning as a GPS for finding those hidden bound serpents spread across Brütal Legend's landscape.
There's still plenty of multiplayer action in this pack as well. Four new multiplayer maps will enter the fray, allowing you to battle at locations such as the Altar of Blood, Coiled Remains, Crucible of the Titans and The Amplified Cliffs. And of course all of these additions will be accompanied by new achievements/trophies to unlock. Oh, and did I mention that you can put Tim Schafer's head on Mount Rockmore in this DLC?
The Hammer of Infinite Fate will be priced at 480 MS points on the Xbox 360, one dollar more than the PS3's $4.99 asking price for the DLC. With the first DLC free to PS3 gamers for a limited time, and now this price discrepancy, I wonder if Tim Schafer is still bitter toward Microsoft for backing out of publishing Psychonauts.
