Video: World's Most Boring Game Brings Hope To Its Players
Over this Thanksgiving Loading Ready Run had its 3rd annual Desert Bus marathon and donated over $130,000 to the game and toy charity Child's Play. For five days straight this group of gaming do-gooders played the worlds most boring game: an 8-hour, real time desert drive from Tucsan, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada. There is no scenery, no passengers, and nothing happens (a bug will splat the window 5 hours through) as you battle the bus' infinite attempts to veer off the road. This is implemented in a way that requires constant, vigilant, interaction. Taping the button down will fail to maintain the stodgy mechanic and results in a tow back to Tuscan which is also in real time. Originally this game was to be packed in with Penn and Teller's Smoke and Mirrors game for the Sega CD but never got released. It is only thanks to Frank Cifaldi of Lost Levels that we can know of its history today.

It's like Andy Warhol made a video game!
*Tucson
Our city is Tucson, Arizona. :) I think it looks a little off in the image because they were trying to go for that hand written look.
