Videos: Spike VGAs Game Reveals
[Update: Looks like Gametrailers might be suffering from all the extra VGA traffic and is a wee bit unstable. If the videos aren't appearing, they should be back when they knock all the gremlins out of the machines.]
As usual, last night's VGAs was less about the Awards and more about game companies showing off what they want to get you excited about. If you need to know the winners, check out a full list here. In short, Uncharted 2 took the big prize, Game of the Year, as well as Best PS3 game and Best Graphics. Left 4 Dead 2 took best Xbox 360 Game, New Super Mario Bros. Wii did the same for the Wii, and Dragon Age: Origins won best PC game. Overall they're actually not bad picks, although there's nothing too shocking on the list.
As for the game trailers, the biggest surprise is above, with the announcement of Batman: Arkham Asylum 2. The footage isn't terribly illuminating, although it does let us know that Arkham Has Moved. After the break, you can see the trailer for The Force Unleashed 2, which will hopefully improve some of the flaws of the first. Ubisoft revealed Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, and it looks like the Prince may have lost a few chromosomes in the years since the last game in the Sands of Time series. The Halo: Reach In-Engine trailer shows off some of the improvements to the graphics for the upcoming blockbuster, and Green Day introduces their very own Rock Band installment. The last trailer after the break is Tron: Evolution, showing some of the classic games from the original transformed for the new generation. For a full list of game trailers revealed during the program, including Crackdown 2, Medal of Honor, and more, check out GameTrailers.

Heh, my own (conscious or unconscious) thoughts aside, the typo's been fixed, thanks.
