Video: Mass Effect 2 Companions
Constantly reminding us of its impending release, BioWare has released two more character videos for Mass Effect 2. One of a passionless assassin and the other for a guy who lives to fight. Both were present in the latest cinematic trailer, and now we get a bit more personal with them. Now to ponder if I'll be taking either with my Shepard.
Thane, your Drell companion for Mass Effect 2, reveals his assassinating ways, ensconced in lacking remorse and often any emotional draw. In an almost serial killer like fashion, killing people is an art, of which he boasts to be a master.
Then there is Grunt, your Krogan companion, who reveals his love for killing and violence below the cut. Hardly surprising for a Krogan, I suppose? His stated purpose for following Shepard is knowing he'll have plenty to fight.

I wonder when they'll stop releasing story information. I've had to keep myself in ME media blackout since E3 because they're trailers are just getting worst and worst.
Maybe I misinterpreted what they were saying during one of those E3 trailers, but I know I heard the phrase "In one ending, Shephard-" before I panicked and hit the big red x in my window's corner. Maybe they were talking about the first one, and I overreacted, but it felt like they were still talking about the 2nd game, trying to give an example of the directions their story can take. Either way, I was sick of them showing me all their story cutscenes like when you meet that green guy. Would've liked to encounter that myself, thanks.
I think Thane will be one of those characters that never leaves my party.
