Video: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Extended Commercial
Now that The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is out, Nintendo is kicking the marketing into high gear. This new extended commercial for the game features a young man in a Justin Long costume entering a subway train that slowly transforms into a train to Hyrule. It's pretty slick, I like how it also tries to explain Zelda's transition into the Phantom character through the window reflections. I like this ad a lot, but is it just me or does it feel out of place with Nintendo's current marketing efforts? It feels a lot like those "Who Are You" ads, but I haven't seen one of those in years. Either way, it's pretty cool.

It definitely has that "Classic Nintendo Marketing" vibe. It's also effin' creepy.
The kid is cute.
I like that. Good commercial.
Can't wait to play the game!
I want to take a train to Hyrule!
Sigh, guess I gotta buy the game now to satisfy that urge.
Rad!
