Deals: Torchlight On Sale At Steam This Weekend

Maybe you've been hearing a lot about this Torchlight game lately, but haven't really given it too much thought. Now you can turn that callous disregard to your advantage, as Steam has slashed the price of the game in half this weekend, to $9.99. They've also added more than 60 Steam Achievements and Cloud support, which lets you pick up and play your saved game on multiple computers, such as between a desktop and laptop, or at home and work. Well, unless you'd get fired, then just play at home, Steam Cloud be damned.
I'm not often jealous of PC gamers and their exclusives, but this is one that I've been wanting to get my hands on since I first heard about it. Really, it's the Diablo connection that got me: some people went to grad school, I played Diablo II. Knowing that an official sequel to that game isn't likely til 2011 or later, I'm happy to play anything even mentioned in the same breath. I'm not too keen on Boot Camp-ing my aging MacBook Pro, and the developers haven't really brought up OS X native support since the game came out. I'm sure I'll figure out a way to play the game eventually, but until then consider me green with envy.

Just the sale I was looking for!
Hm, I was waiting for a physical copy of this game, but I might just have to get it like this.
I got it! Boot Camp isn't so bad. :P
I figured for 10 bucks it's worth it; it got good reviews even though Diablo clones don't interest me too much. But still, 10 bucks, can't go wrong.
Bah!
Stupid Steam making Europeans pay more. That's what I don't like about the gougers. I suppose it's still on discount. But there are other games I want on Steam and I really don't like their shoddy business practices.
@mixvio,
Oh I've got nothing against bootcamp per se, but it's probably not worth it on my machine, which is like 90 years old in Mac years. It could handle it, but I have to think about its quality of life.
When the multiplayer version of this comes out, distributed by Perfect World, think about who you are giving money to.
Perfect World's perfect world does not include gays. Their other MMO's have the ability to get married within them, but they have very strict requirements that mandate one male and one female.
I just cannot give Torchlight's devs a cent of my money if this is who they choose to distribute through.
