Seasons Greetings From Guitar/Band Hero

Activision is touting "one of the hottest line-ups of downloadable content this December," although I have to admit I'm a little underwhelmed by the selections on offer. Plus, I've kind of moved away from Guitar Hero and Rock Band to Lips and Beatles Rock Band. But at any rate, the company has announced what you can expect in the way of DLC this holiday season for both Guitar Hero and Band Hero.
The Fall of Troy gets their own track back on December 3 featuring "Panic Attack," "A Classic Case of Transference" and "Single" from the band's October album In The Unlikely Event. Then, on December 12, you'll get a track pack from OneRepublic including "All The Right Moves" and "Everybody Loves Me" from their newest album Waking Up and "Mercy" off their first disc, Dreaming Out Loud. December 17 will bring you a three song pack including Nada Surf's "Hi-Speed Soul," Pavement's "Cut Your Hair" and Spoon's "Sister Jack." Then they go mainstream on December 22 with a pack of Taylor Swift's "Our Song," Maroon 5's "Harder to Breathe" and "New" by No Doubt.
Also on December 22, just in time for Christmas, they're also releasing Steve Ouimette's version of the classic "Hark The Herald Angels Sing" as a free download for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I like a good present! The holiday tune is free, but the others will run you the traditional pack and song prices.
