ROCsteady's Christmas Wish List
Ah the holidays! Drinking egg nog by the fire, putting up that garish looking tree and heel stomping a goomba. Nothing says "seasons greetings!" like an expertly wrapped video game given to those most cherished in your life. In the spirit of the season I thought I'd share the games on my list to give and to receive.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3) - If I get cold this week I can be sure to warm up with the action of this instant classic. Expert storytelling and streamlined adventure steam up my windows along with Mr. Drake and his five o'clock shadow.
New Super Mario Bros Wii (Wii) - We all have an whiny cousin or nephew. That precocious know-it-all who logs days playing a game before coming up for air. Fortunately this time you have skill developed before he was even a glint in his mother's eye on that hazy prom night. Show him how it's done in this madcap co-op version of the 80's classic.
God of War Collection (PS3) - Kratos rings in the season with deadly clangs from his Blades of Chaos and his Santa suit colored warpaint in this beautifully remastered collection of some of gaming's greatest moments.
Dissidia Final Fantasy (PSP) - Instead of tossing that unappetizing sardine torte served at Aunt Ida's straight at your banquet neighbor why not duke it out on your PSPs with Dissidia Final Fantasy? Squall and the gang will satisfy your hunger for battle and protect auntie's spread.
Dragon Age: Origins (XBOX 360/PS3/PC) - Deck the halls with blood and magic in this updated take on the Baldur's Gate franchise. And while you're at it, why not ask your buddy Zevran to come check your tent for that drafty opening?
Borderlands (XBOX 360/PS3/PC) - Despite the lack of snow during a nuclear winter, Christmas does still happen in the post apocalyptic wasteland! So curl up by the oil drum and sip some homemade squirrel nog and give this co-op RPG/ shooter a whirl!
Quality gaming is not hard to find this holiday season but good Christmas cookies might be. While I devour my new starry friend here I'd love to hear what is in store for your stockings this week. Let us know what you're planning on giving, or getting, this Christmas. Just make sure you're not spoiling the surprise!

Since I usually buy every game I want to get when it's released (pinching every penny possible to do so lol)I got Assault on Dark Athena (I wanted it but there was always something I wanted more) from my parents. I got Dragon Quest 8 for my sister so she'd quit borrowing mine (not really)
I'm getting my mom The Beatles: Rock Band, and I'm getting my sister and her boyfriend BUZZ TV: Quiz World.
