Left 4 Dead 2 DLC Bringing Original Cast Down South In "The Passing"

the passing.png

A new DLC campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 is in the works, and is bound to make fans of the original very happy. "The Passing" as the new campaign is called, will bring Bill, Francis, Zoey, and Luis down to rural Georgia for a meet and greet with Coach, Ellis, Rochelle, and Nick. Although from the sound of things, the campaign will only be played as the L4D2 survivors, with the original cast in a supporting role.

The DLC will do more than just bring back old friends though, as it also adds a new "uncommon common" zombie, a new melee weapon and firearm, arenas for the Survival, Versus, and Scavange modes, and most intriguing, a "new co-operative challenge mode." Might that be a new mode with all 8 survivors at once? It sure sounds like it.

"The Passing" is set to come out sometime in early spring of next year for both PC and Xbox 360 with a price yet to be set.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
