Final Fantasy XIV Looking For Beta Testers

Do you dream of playing buggy, unfinished games? Do you relish in the potentially good game hiding behind every system crash and game-breaking glitch? Do you then like to complain, directly to the company responsible, about those glitches? Then have I got a job for you.
Yesterday, Square-Enix launched a site announcing the upcoming beta phase for its online sequel-that-was-announced-before-the-predecessor-even-released: Final Fantasy XIV. The site is open and ready to accept applications from Japan and North America as well as "Europe & Other Regions". Other Regions seems to mean any place that speaks English, French, or German, so if you know one of those languages you should be good to go.
Currently the sign-up is looking for testers for the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV, but there's a check box as part of the application that allows you to throw your name in the hat for PS3 testing as well. You could also just wait for the PS3 sign-up to begin if that's your preference, though there's no word on when that will be.
So if you're over 18, have a Square-Enix ID account (which I didn't, but it only took about 5 minutes to set up), and have an internet connection capable of downloading lots of data, then head over to the Final Fantasy XIV beta site.
