Dead Space 2 Teased On Twitter
The official twitter site for Dead Space 2 launched a few days ago and with it came the first teaser image for the anticipated sequel. As you can see above, it really doesn't do much more than whet the appetite: various types of necromorphs can be discerned in the Rorschach-type blot. Personally, I see a clown riding a Merry-Go-Round. The scribbles below are actually letters from the language of the game's nefarious religion Unitology, allegedly spelling out, "The nightmare is over but it will not end." Seems a little bit on the nose, but appropriate for a sequel, I suppose.
The game should be officially announced soon, as we know it's coming (with online multiplayer this time) but don't know anything more about it. With this image, it looks like we may not be in the dark much longer.

I see a vagina, two devil tails and what look like praying mantis arms. I wonder if this might be a clue to what kind of monsters will be in the next one. o_O

I hope this will get a 2010 release, usually seems like EA can crank 'em out. I'm currently a ways into Dead Space: Extraction, and it's a great extension of the story (and a total blast to play).
Not having my scoring notebook handy, I believe "a clown riding a Merry-Go-Round" on a Rorschach card would probably be scored something along the lines of:
W+ Mp.mau ( H ),Sc 1.0
but that's pretty loose without standardized responses for the inkblot or follow up questions. Don't worry, that's a relatively normal response.
...and a total "blast" to play.
