Cheap Date: Name Your Own Price Sale On Shatter Soundtrack

Back in September I mentioned just how much I enjoyed the soundtrack to the PSN title Shatter, but now there's no reason why everyone can't enjoy it for themselves. Between now and Christmas, you can head on over to the Sidhe website and grab the eclectic electronic soundtrack for just $1 (or more if you're feeling generous). Why the sudden sale? Sidhe is celebrating Shatter being awarded IGN's PSN Game of the Year. Considering that this year brought us a plethora of fantastic titles (including Battlefield 1943, Fat Princess, and Flower just to name a few), the guys and gals at Sidhe should be honored.
All you audiophiles out there have reason to celebrate as well since you have the option to download the soundtrack in a variety of formats and sizes. Mediaplayer happy MP3s, compact Ogg Vorbis files, AACs and even lossless FLAC files are among your purchasing options. Yeah, it's not the same as having physical CD, but between the options and the "name your own price" nature of the sale, I don't think we'll ever see a better deal on this fantastic soundtrack! Don't believe me? Head on over to the site and preview it for yourself!

I'm really surprised that it won PSN Game of the Year. Not that it's a bad game or anything - it just didn't seem particularly remarkable or noteworthy in any regard, except maybe the music.
I'd never heard of this game before I saw this article. I bought the soundtrack for $1 and it's great. Fantastic base lines and use of electronica.
