Boy and Blob Custom Figures May Cause Spontaneous Hugging

One of my favorite titles this year was the Wii reimagining of A Boy and His Blob. Aside from being a clever take on the NES classic and featuring some great level design, the game also featured some incredible art direction that made the whole experience look like an illustrated children's book. After playing the game for only a short time, I began to wish that the title (and series as a whole) was more popular so that it would give some toy maker out there an excuse to bring the two title characters into the world of vinyl. Tomopop user Kody Koala took matters into his own hands literally by sculpting his own custom figures and the results are amazing!
Starting with a Yotsuba revoltech figure from the Yotsuba&! manga/anime series, Kody Koala only had to remove a few elements from the base figure, add a few extras things here and there, then finally gave it a new coat of paint to transform the toy. The stunningly accurate Blob figure was made entirely out of epoxy putty. It doesn't sound like one of the most difficult customs to recreate, but it's certainly pretty inventive.
