Bayonetta Gets Special Edition In Europe
It's not often we can say that Europe is getting the best deal out of any of the territories for a console release, but this is one of those times, so by jove we're going to say it: Bayonetta fans willing to pre-order the game from European retailers will get access to the aptly-named ∞ Climax Edition, which takes its name from producer Hideki Kamiya's term for the game's combo action.
What does Infinity Climax feel like? Well, we imagine it feels something like getting a 36-page art book packed with prettiness and a remastered (which here means 'abridged') soundtrack with some of the best tracks by the composers from Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, and Okami.
Even if you don't go for the ∞ Climax Edition, Sega of Europe has you covered, offering a replica of one of the Scarborough Fair guns with all preorders, presumably while supplies last. I can't imagine supplies lasting very long, though if I got my hot little hands on one I'd have trouble deciding whether to display it on the desk or alongside a collection of heels.
No word has come from Sega or Platinum Games about whether this wonderful bundle will be coming to America, though given the game will see U.S. shores in about a month, it doesn't seem terribly likely. If you're a European fan (or don't mind importing for the region-free console), jump on this bonus while you can!

Hmm wish they did something like that for DMC :( Not a fan of female protagonists myself so was never interested in this game but that edition is very nice indeed.
I knew It. They made a Bayonetta Special Edition, just as I thought. That gun-like thing will look awesome on my collection, I guess. But first things first, BioShock 2 is coming =].
It's the same price as the regular edition? Blimey!
How do I get my hands on one of the replicas though, is SEGA sending them out?
