Live Actionish Murder Mystery Game, "Again", Dated

Again_1483633a.jpgThe upcoming DS murder mystery, Again: Eye of Providence, has been given a March 2010 release date by it's developers, Cing (Hotel Dusk, Trace Memory) and Tecmo (Fatal Frame, Ninja Gaiden). "Again" is a pretty odd bird. For starters, it's a gritty point and click murder mystery on the DS that's played in the "held like a book" style. It's presentation is a strange hodgepodge of live action video, still photographs, and mixed media GUI. Though it seems to be set in a realistic world (not the semi-cartoony murder-filled worlds of say, Phoenix Wright) it also has a supernatural twist: The protagonist can see flashes into the past, giving him hints on how crimes were committed. Hotel Dusk is hands-down the best game on the DS, so more adventure games from Cing is always a good thing.

About a year ago I wrote a little love letter to Hotel Dusk: http://gaygamer.net/2008/11/overlooked_hotel_dusk_room_215.html
