Microsoft Introduces 360 Wireless N Adapter

Microsoft has announced that this week the Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter will be available in stores. The dual band adapter uses the newest wireless N standard, "allowing two times the range and a speed seven times faster than before." It has two external antennas that work with 802.11 a/b/g and n connections. Of course, as with all official Xbox 360 accessories, it's overpriced at $99.99.
Personally, I'm not enough of a tech head to know whether or not this is going to make any major difference when gaming online. When I saw how expensive the 360 wireless adapters were, I sucked it up and made the ethernet cable work, running it under the carpet over to my router. Of course, I also figure if you're geeky enough to want a gadget like this, you're probably geeky enough to know how to make another brand work on your Xbox for less money. Just letting you know it's available!

I just run a cable from my laptop to my 360. Cheap and easy, yay!
If only people wouldn't buy it, then it wouldn't stay at the $100 price mark. But as long as people go out there and buy it at their price, they'll keep the price outrageous.
I use a cable as well for the same reason :-)
