Fantastic Flash: Small Worlds
Flash game aficionados JayIsGames have had another of their design contests. The theme for contest #6 is "Explore", and all entries are supposed to use the exploration mechanic, hopefully in new or interesting ways.
The winning entry, Small Worlds, reflects that. It's very simple, but elegant. The visual design is almost primitive, at least until you start exploring. It's not unlike staring at Sunday in the Park. You'll note a theme as you play as well, if you're paying attention. The overall effect of the game is somehow relaxing.

Every world he goes to is destroyed.
It was interesting, if not a little too morbid. The ending, in particular, made me go "what the...?" to myself.
