Video Game Films Make Top 100 Worst Reviewed Movies List

Whilst perusing RottenTomatoes.com for reviews of Zombieland, I happened to notice a feature article called "Worst of the Worst: The Top 100 Worst Reviewed Movies of the Last Ten Years." Always one for a wee bit of schadenfreude when it comes to bad movies I decided to take a look.
Not surprisingly, there somevideo game titles on the list, four to be exact, with two of them directed by by famed stinko video game movie impresario, Uwe Boll. Here's the list of video game movies and their rank on the list.
- #68 - Yu-Gi-Oh: The Movie (2004)
- #48 - BloodRayne (2006)
- #44 - Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009)
- #42 - House of the Dead (2003)
I suppose it's nice to see that only four out of 100 were game related, but when you think of it in terms of films from the last ten years, it really makes the selected movies seem extra terrible. Let's hope that the likes of the upcoming Prince of Persia and BioShock movies don't end up making it on to this rather dubious list of honorees.

Just to point out, Mr. Boll's Alone In The Dark's on there too…
Wow, now there's a list of crud… most of which I've seen. *shame*
*sigh* I'm going look like a loser for stating this but...
Yu-Gi-Oh! is more of a Anime/Manga movie than it is a video game movie. The Manga and Anime was out way before any games about the card game was made.
I think In The Name of the King: A Dragon Siege Tale is also an adaption, but I could be mistaken.
This is gonna get me stoned for sure.
I've never seen a Uwe Boll movie, but I have seen the trailer for Alone in the dark and I thought from that and that alone, it looked kinda interesting.
*ducks from oncoming stones*
Nexus, I believe we're all sadistic enough to allow you to watch the film and let you find out for yourself. It'll hurt much more than any stones we could throw.
I despise that my home country allows a loophole through which Uwe can create what he likes to think is film.
Nexus, I actually thought the same thing and gave Alone in the Dark a rental. I was impressed that there were actually 1 or 2 very brief moments when it was somewhat similar to the idea of the game, but on the whole it was pretty much as bad as everyone says.
HwoodSuperhero, yeah, In The Name of The King is based on the Dungeon Siege license.
Alone in the Dark was a series that I absolutely loved, game-wise. It was terrifying in the way that Silent Hill and System Shock 1/2 were, where it couldn't be played in the dark or by myself, I had to have all the lights on in the house at 12 PM in the daylight with an audience or I was too frightened to play.
Now Alone in the Dark, the movie, was so bad, even the sex scenes were disinterested in themselves.
