TGS 09: God Eater - Trailer
Guys, I'm really into blaspheme. The title alone has me intrigued! Watch this trailer, posted by Destructoid, for an upcoming PSP game called God Eater. As I was watching the trailer, I was not aware it was a PSP game, but I kept thinking how much it looked like an old timey PS2 game with its loveable blockiness and polygonal teenage melodrama. This trailer is making me want a PSP!
The trailer shows a big Japenese storyline that seems to be set in a post apocalyptic world where sexy JRPG heros fight (and eat?) giant monsters. It seems like the story is more focused on the impact of the existence of monsters themselves, rather than the "oh yeah and there's also monsters" move that JRPGs often pull. Look at the size of those monsters! And swords! It looks like the kind of gritty action RPG I've been hungering for lately. I'm so hungry I could eat a god! Okay, fine, I might just be planning to buy this game for the title. God Eater.

Japan's stories are for the childish and fat. 80% of that trailer was being walking and competitively large swords. Oh fuck, that stupid song. If someone made that in America, we would laugh, or sell it to Disney. But dammit, Ill play it.
