Team Fortress 2 Halloween!
It is that time of year when games connected online give out costumes and tiny treats to their players. As we've already seen with Demon's Souls, Champions Online, and possibly Uncharted 2: Among Thieves we've already begun.
While the demo of Left 4 Dead 2 is being played, Valve does not seem to want to go the way of Hellgate: London (that was a disappointing Halloween, made up by the fact that I had a particularly wonderful costume that year) with the release.
So?
They give us Team Fortress 2 updates!
Welcome, if you dare, to the first ever Team Fortress Haunted Halloween Special! Five new update-specific achievements will unlock the Mildly Disturbing Halloween Hats--moldering, eldritch veils of such manifold depravity, the human eye will not process the sheer enormity of their malevolence, and out of self-preservation will merely show you paper bags with faces on them. These faces are still moderately scary, though, so brace yourselves for mild terror! [sound of bat wings]
The achievements are:
- Candy Coroner: Collect 20 Halloween pumpkins from dead players to unlock a hat.
- Scared Stiff: Kill a player scared by the ghost haunting KOTH Harvest.
- Ghastly Gibus Grab: Dominate a player wearing the Ghastly Gibus to earn your own.
- Costume Contest: Kill a spy disguised as your current class.
- Attack o' Lantern: Cause the deaths of 5 players by exploding nearby pumpkin bombs.
The event lasts from October 29 to November 2, so get the achievements while they last. As per usual, the page itself is loaded with humor, so I'll link it again for you to get a good chuckle.

What does "Possibly Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" mean?
Is it rumoured? Are there costumes? I assume it just means that you are just speculating - but I do hope there are! As long as they aren't more skeletons...
