Interrupt Taylor Swift Yourself In Band Hero
Activision previously revealed that you'll be able to play as Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine in the upcoming Band Hero, and now it turns out that Taylor Swift will also be an in-game character. Luckily, Kanye West isn't included, or that might be awkward! Today they also confirmed some additional songs that will be included in both the console and DS version of the game. And judging from the song list, they seem to be shooting for a wider audience than Rock Band. Because while they include rockers like Foo Fighters and Pat Benatar, they've also got more unusual selections like Jesse McCartney and Hilary Duff.
I'll put the entire song lists after the jump, but I have to admit that they do have one song confirmed that I would absolutely kill to play. Unfortunately, I'm not really in the mood to buy another set of fake instruments... But they've got the Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue duet "Kids," one of my favorite songs ever! No.. I don't have space in my apartment for another drum set... but... but no. No means no. I have to draw the line somewhere!

I wanna sing Kids!
I'm sorry but Adam Levine has a terrible, terrible voice. It's so nasal and whiny, I can hardly stand it. That said, it looks like there's some pretty decent songs on the game ("So What", "Suddenly I See", "Take Back the City", "Love Is A Battlefield"), but there's plenty of crap as well (most of the rest).
Wow, they didn't even try this time, did they? I guess they realized they could turn the Guitar Hero franchise into something even more worthless than "annualizable". There are only 3 good songs in the console lists that aren't already in some other game.
