Fashion Fab: Be A Rockstar With Pride

While perusing the Rockstar website over the weekend I stumbled across this little fashion gem. Coming Out Day may have been yesterday, but Rockstar is ready to show its pride year round with this simple and chic tee. While I do love me my Gay Tony tee that the nice Rockstar reps at PAX passed onto to me (and Tiny and some of our readers), I have to say that I'm envious of this one and may snag it in the near future. For all you tee geeks out there, its lovely description states that this rainbow coloring required a "special production process" that layers together over 8 silkscreens. In non-artsy talk that basically translates into: "this business was technically difficult to put together." This slice of snazzy styling will set you back $20, but who said that quality comes cheap?

This may not be the place to talk about this but was anyone else offended by the number of straights promoting Come Out Day? Seems every straight friend I have was talking incessantly about it online, totally clueless to how offensive it is to be "given permission" by hetero dingbats to reveal what is for many a private or emotional matter.
I dunno, I wouldn't find that offensive myself. It's a private thing, but it's also a bunch of people who otherwise wouldn't be involved in things saying "I'm cool with my friends letting me know this." The first step towards coming out to begin with is feeling like you have a safe place to do it in, and I would be a lot more inclined to tell my straight friends (if I wasn't out already) that I was gay if they brought the subject up themselves in a positive way.
I like the presentation of these shirts, but I'm so disappointed that there seems to be no way to order a babydoll cut of any of them.
Spandex shirts are the future! C'mon, Rockstar, there have to be more femme fans looking to pay to promote your gear...
