Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary
Dear Diary,
Okay, remember when I complained about the cicadas being so loud and annoying? Well, turns out they're nothing compared to the stupid crickets that invade come September. Sigh. Seriously, they're noisy, but even worse, there's like, a veritable swarm of them all over town, so it gets deafening at times. I hate them.
On the plus side, I've made some new friends so I could go visiting, so that's fun. Although I did discover that you can't throw your axe into the fountain to call the fairy if your gate is open. Weird!
So I guess this means that the summer is over? Can't wait for the leaves to change. I love fall. But like I said, having fireworks every week for a month makes them decidedly less special than when they're once a year. Even if it's not on the Fourth of July. I mean, Tortimer reminded me of the fireworks, and I still didn't show up later to watch. I saw two of the shows, so I figure that's enough. It's always the same, anyway.
Now that the month has changed, there's some new things to catch for the museum, but so far all I've managed to snag was a grasshopper, a salmon and a bell cricket. I already had the regular cricket. I don't know how many varieties of cricket there are. I should probably try catching some more and see. Don't want to miss any. But they all look the same to me!
We finally got Bud's replacement, and it turns out to be a sheep named Baarbara. She seems a little snotty, like Olivia, which I like. When they're just sweet and/or cute, they can be kind of boring. I mean, I have a squirrel living in my town whose name I can't remember for the life of me. I know that's horrible, but I barely ever talk to her and wouldn't care if she left. She's a snoozer! (But don't tell her I said so!)
Usually when Blanka shows up, I ignore her. I just don't normally feel like taking the time to draw her a new face. It can be really time consuming. I mean, if you want to do a good job, anyway. I usually half-ass it because I can't be bothered. But this time, I saw that she had no face at all, and I didn't think that was right. She told me she wanted something eerie, so I gave her a scary face with red eyes. More scary than eerie, I suppose, but she seemed to like it! And now she can go to other people's towns and creep them out with her horrific visage.
Since most of my old friends don't open their gates anymore, I thought it was past time I made some new friends so I can go visiting and have people over. It's no fun having a fabulous town if you can't show it off! So this week I headed out to Hell to visit with Adrian and his buddies. His town is immaculate, and we had a great time all hanging out. I even got in some good fishing.
Then later in the week, Adrian stopped by for a visit to check out my place. Danny came over, too, and while they were running around my upstairs, Danny actually shoved me into the bed! I didn't even know you could do that! He did it twice just to make sure I hadn't imagined it. But yeah. I was just standing there minding my own business, and Danny just barreled right into me. Luckily he didn't try anything else!

danny, you hussy!
and thanks for the compliment on my town, wootini.
Playing coy with your legs open doesn't work. Anyways, there a hot guy in bed and Adrian's just staring at the wall?
Baabara is a racist. Don't let her fool you.
Where did you get the Link costume? Cool!
@Sam: Obviously you haven't been keeping up with my diary entries, because I've been working towards saving up the points to buy that costume at Nooks for a WHILE! It's awesome!
Sorry, I haven't. This is the first time I've properly been to this site...
Is that the DS version as well?
