Video: Assassin's Creed II In Venice
I'm not gonna lie, this trailer of the Venice-based hijinks made me a little dewy in my tiny pants. Not only does Ezio look a lot hotter in the threads of 1486 Venice than wosshisface ever did back the Holy Land, but Renaissance-style dueling and swordplay abounds, all infinitely more finessed and culturally rich than the brute force of the original game's Damascus-steel-wielding enemies.
Art, architecture, a Dan Brown style sense of mystery without the absurdity - Assassin's Creed II seems to promise more than sitting on dirty benches listening to the minutiae of ancient bad guys' bad-guy-plans. Da Vinci! Capes! Frilly little pantaloons and velvet doublets with fleur-de-lis buttons!
Somebody take me to the renfaire stat. I need mead and a willing blacksmith.

Looks good. But needs more codpiece.
That intro part reminded me of the HBO show "Carnivale"...I really miss that show.
Hopefully they include something more than the rinse-and-repeat levels of the original title. Enjoyed the game the first few hours till it began to feel like listening to top 40 radio all day long (how many times an hour must I hear this song?) and put it down.
Looks absolutely positively SICK!! Cannot wait!
