Video: Argentinean News Program Warns Of Grog Epidemic
What do you get when you mix the following chemicals together:
- Kerosene
- Artificial Sweeteners
- Sulfuric Acid
- Acetone
- Red Dye #2
- Axel Grease
- Battery Acid
Why, none other than Monkey Island's 'grog'! Ok, so it's few ingredients, namely the non-toxic ones. Turns out some Argentinean news broadcaster found a recipe for the infamous lock melting brew and decided it was the next plague sweeping the nation's teen population.
This is, in short, the funniest news blunder I've seen. Seriously, I don't think even The Onion could make that crap up.

Wait...kerosene, sulfuric acid, acetone and battery acid are non-toxic? Unless I'm somehow misunderstanding you, I must remember to never ask you to mix me a drink.
I did a double-take on that, too. I think he meant to write "Ok, so it's *MISSING A* few ingredients, namely the non-toxic ones."
Yeah... I skipped the drink for a good reason. I mean seriously, where in the hell am I going to find kerosene in the middle of the night?
People are stupid, and luckily we get to catch some of that stupidity.
uff! For a minute I thought that was a recipe for a bomb, Fight Club Style... :) It´s just a drink... I feel better now! :P
It was so funny when i watched this on tv. It's a segment from a tv show called TVr. To be a little more serious, it's a concerning matter the way teenagers drink before going out. It's a matter of national importance right now down here. There is a law coming out about having alcohol tests before going to a disco or a bar. And restrictions about the way supermarkets and kioscos and bars sell alcohol. It's kinda big down here. But it was so funny when i saw that....
