TGS 09: White Knight Chronicles NA Features, Sequel
White Knight Chronicles (you know, a game that was supposed to be a PS3 launch title), released in December, 2008 in Japan, has a loosely defined Q1 release date for North America. It was announced today that this release will include a feature lacking in the Japanese version: voice chat. Also announced is the fact that the shipped game will include all the updates provided to Japan thus far.
Voice chat will be released in the form of a patch for the Japanese version of the game. Online play will apparently be unlocked after completing portions of the single-player mode (because we all love unlocking features that we want from the start, don't we?)
Also announced was its sequel: White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness. There is no publicly released trailer yet, but look for it in the near future.
