TGS 09: Where The Wild Things Are Trailer
What's up grown-up kids? The Tokyo Game Show is upon us and with it, an impending barrage of videos and press releases. So: let the wild rumpus start!
This TGS exclusive trailer of Where the Wild Things Are shows kiddie Max and monstrous Carol cavorting throughout the world of Max's imagination. The first thing you'll notice about the game is that, like the the film, it has a deliberate indie-film vibe: especially the emo-instrumental music and the hand-drawn fonts.
I suspect I might end up filled with rage at the raping of my childhood in any event, but at least it's not Race to Witch Mountain, right? The game bears a very very strong resemblance to the Team Ico project The Last Guardian, but I probably say that about every game starring an adorable young'un and a fluffy monstrosity, don't I?
