TGS 09: Video: Ni No Kuni Trailer
Want. Want SO BAD.
This is the trailer for the upcoming Nintendo DS game Ni No Kuni, which is being brought to you by the brilliant Studio Ghibli and the fantastic Level 5. It's all in Japanese with no subtitles, so I have no idea what's actually going on, but the cinemas look fantastic, and the actual gameplay footage is just as impressive. It really feels like a Studio Ghibli production, and if I can't play a game adaptation of Spirited Away or Castle in the Sky, I'll take this. Well, that is, if it makes its way to America. Which I'm sure it will. It looks like a AAA production that will get as wide a release as possible, even if there's a ton of translating to be done.

This is so exciting.
The environments and music seem absolutely gorgeous!
At the end of the video says "For Nintendo DS & Another Platform"... this will look amazing in an Iphone/Ipod Touch.
This is the one that's supposed to be released with a little code-book or something, right?
It looks amazing and beautiful. Like pretty much all of Ghibli's movies.
I'm right along hoping for a localisation with the rest of you. :)
