Nintendo Offers Internet Channel For Free

big_tv.png

Nintendo wants you to browse the internet for free! They are reducing the cost of the Wii's Internet Channel, formerly available for 500 Wii points, to the low, low price of FREE. Effective immediately! Now before you get your panties in a twist if you were an early adopter of the channel, Nintendo is willing to make those 500 points up to you by allowing you to download one NES game of your choice valued at 500 Wii Points or less. A fair exchange for a free internet browser I would say!

For more info on how the exchange will work, you can refer to the Wii Message board on Nintendo.com.

Free NES game? Uh... thanks, Nintendo?

I have no regrets about downloading it when it was still for-pay though. It actually stopped my family for fighting over the computer all the time. And now I think my parents have become somewhat attached to watching Youtube on the Wii.

With the free download, I'll probably revisit my childhood and download SMB. But still... 500 free points would've been a lot better.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
