Nintendo Flipping Out At PAX

pax-09.jpg

Today Nintendo announced their game line-up for PAX, which is starting tomorrow, along with a few treats for us to "flipout" about at the event. First up we have a large assortment of the usually suspects as playable games for PAX, namely: New Super Mario Bros. Wii, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story; all of which are games yet unreleased so people are more than willing to get their grubby mitts on them. Nintendo will also be showcasing a few games that recently released such as Metroid Prime: Trilogy, Wii Sports Resort and Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, which might be fun to tryout to see if you want to actually purchase them.

The big kicker is that Nintendo will also be showcasing Flipnote Studio for the DSi there, which is already out, and will have a number of talented artists making their own animations with the studio for your viewing entertainment. Artists like Scott Kurtz (PvP), Eric Jones (DC Comics: Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade), Christina Strain (Marvel Comics: Runaways), Mike Choi (Marvel: X-Force), Edison Yan (5th Cell: Scribblenauts) and Ryan Jones (Telltale Games: Tales of Monkey Island) will be at the booth at different times to show their stuff. It should be super entertaining to see what these creative minds make with the studio's tools so be sure to check out the booth to see what they "flip out".

On top of all of that, Nintendo also be showing off their new WiiWare title Pokémon Rumble which seems to let you play cooperatively with four of your friends, each taking a different Pokemon, to put away legions of baddies in an arena brawler or beat 'em up type game. As it is attached to the Pokemon franchise, I can see that this game will want to be seen by many at PAX.

Overall, looks like Nintendo has some exciting games showcasing in their booth, so make sure to check them out at PAX.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
