Left 4 Dead Double Feature

l4d-crashcourse.jpg

We've got a double dose of Left 4 Dead news for you today. The first comes in the form of the Crash Course DLC that Valve will be dishing out for the original game next week. The DLC will come with a few new maps for the Campaign and Versus modes of the game, along with a few new Survival maps as well. These new maps have the end goal of making the Versus mode of the game a little more 'streamlined' and keeping the game time involved down to just 30 minutes. All players of the original Left 4 Dead game can expect to see the content available on Spet. 29th, with a price tag of Free for PC users and 560 MS points for Xbox 360 users.

The second piece of L4D news is about the upcoming sequel, Left 4 Dead 2. The sequel is still set to hit Steam and the Xbox 360 on November 17th; however, Valve has specifically stated that people who pre-order the game from Steam and certain other retailers will get their hands on a demo version of the game a bit earlier than rest of the fans. Well it looks like for the people that pre-order at game.co.uk they will be getting the demo on October 27th and get to play it exclusively until November 3rd.

No word yet on if these dates apply to all pre-orders or just the folks at game.co.uk, but these could be the perspective days on which people can get some quality time with the demo of the Left 4 Dead 2. So keep you eyes peeled for more news (and zombies hiding in your closet) as it comes.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
