Another One Bites The Dust: Bottle Rocket Studios
Sad news this morning. The economy has taken yet another small gaming studio from our midst. San Diego's Bottle Rocket Studios, developers of the Mark of Kri and Rise Of The Kasai have closed their doors after a six month struggle. The troubles began when publisher Namco Bandai decided to relieve the company of its duties working on the new version of Splatterhouse. Unable to continue on after the loss, the company folded.
But all is not lost. Studio president Jay Beard has plans to open another studio, built from the ground up. Farewell, Bottle Rocket. We look forward to seeing your new incarnation rise from the ashes.
