Video(s): BlizzCon Cataclysm and Diablo III Monk Trailers
While Pixel Poet, Sgt. Sausagepants, and Den Den Boy bring you the meat from BlizzCon '09, how about a little eye candy? Up above is the trailer introducing the Monk class to Diablo III. Or should I say re-introducing? If you're ancient like me you might remember a monk in the expansion for the first Diablo, Hellfire. No doubt this one has been souped up a little. Even with (at least) one more class left to reveal, I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Monk will be the first class I play when Diablo III comes out in 30 years.
After the break, check out the monk's mostly martial arts and melee based moveset in a Diablo III gameplay video. Finally, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm's trailer gives you a peek into the changes that the expansion is making to the game. Anyone else think the goblins are kind of adorable? I'm not sure if they were going for that or not.

I love the look of the goblins and their racials do a great job of capturing that goblin feel. I've been taking a break from WoW for awhile now but this will certainly bring me back.
Chris Metzen's voice is so dreamy. Thrall daddy fantasies, anyone?
