Project Sackway: Lost In Time

LBP_History.jpg

Well instead of pimping out a new PlayStation game with their update pack, this time LittleBigPlanet decided to get a little educational on our posteriors, history style. On the 13th of August, LittleBigPlanet will be getting two new packs for purchase that will add objects and costumes "spanning seven classic historical art styles - Oriental, Arabic, Egyptian, Gothic, Roman, Celtic, and Native American." Looks like we need to be ready to do the time warp again, sackboy style!

The History Kit ($3.99) will include new objects of a chinese bell, egyptian mask, ancient Greek vase, and Gothic gargoyle; will have the materials of antique maps, Islamic tiles, Egyptian hieroglyphs, cave painting, and tapestry; as well as 13 other Decorations and over 140 stickers. All of those objects along with new sounds and a whole new song.

They will also have a History Costume Pack ($2.99) that has four adorable costumes of Mozart, Ada Lovelace, Boudica, and Genghis Kahn. I have to say that the educational nature of this pack is good to see, and should make for some interesting levels to be created.

Media Molecule has created a short video of the packs in action so that you can see some of the goodies you will be getting with your purchase, hit the jump to see the video.
