New Little Big Daddy Figures Rise From Rapture, SDCC
Are you one of those people that stumbled in to the world of Rapture a little late and missed out on the limited edition of the game? While most "limited editions" aren't so limited or special, one of the things that made the big box of Bioshock actually worth picking up was the rather detailed Big Daddy figure that came along with it. Sure, most of them showed up broken and needed to be replaced, but they were still really nice looking. Now you can get a second chance to get to own a little Big Daddy figure, even if it isn't resin.
NECA announced at San Diego Comic Con that they got the rights to produce figures based on the characters featured in Bioshock 2 and showed off a few of them, including some new characters. They were tight lipped on price or release date, but the figurine fancying folks over at Tomopop are predicting that we'll see them in stores when the game ships in 2010 (who didn't see that coming?) and will run you between $15 and $20 a pop. While I don't see myself doubling up on a Big Daddy, the replica vile of EVE looks great! I don't want to know how or why it's able to glow, but maybe it's better not to ask those kinds of questions?

I saw those there and the booth they set up for Bioshock II. (came all the way from dallas texas, yall). It was pretty cool. Tho, I would have had to stab a few people to play the demo they had. It was a MADHOUSE. But hey, thats comic-con.
