Manhunt 2 For PC Earns An Adults-Only Rating From ESRB

It looks like Rockstar may finally be having its way with the uncut version of Manhunt 2 that originally earned an AO rating from the ESRB, resulting in a toned-down M-rated version that found its way to consoles, where AO-rated games are verboten.
The same is not true of the more libertarian PC platform, and while brick-and-mortar stores may not sell AO-rated PC games either, there are plenty of distribution pipelines to the PC that may avoid retail store ratings policies.
The ESRB has the PC version of the game posted on its game ratings page, where it's listed as Adults Only. However, there's been no word yet from Rockstar about whether the content of the AO-rated PC version of Manhunt 2 is the same as the original AO-rated game content. But the listing alone should be enough for Manhunt purists (you're out there, right?) to take heart. Or at least, to cut the still-beating heart out of the chest of a virtual hospital attendant. Take your pick.
