Left 4 Dead Gets A "Crash Course" In DLC

Everyone's favorite four person zombie slaughter game, Left 4 Dead has some new DLC coming down the track as a sort of pre-cursor to the release of Left 4 Dead 2 in November. "Crash Course" takes place between two campaigns from the original game, "No Mercy" and "Death Toll." The new campaign will include new dialog from your favorite characters (More Francis!) and new locations.
While there is no hard release date, Valve expects "Crash Course" to be avaialable sometime next month (September). It will be free for PC owners of Left 4 Dead while Xbox owners will have to cough up 580 MS points to play.

So... in Valve time, that's some time next spring, right?
I'm hyped! Sure I'll have to pay a bit because I have it on 360, but the sad fact of the matter is that I'd pay in an instant for more L4D.
I constantly feel sorry for people that play Valve games on consoles...not only do you have to use a controller instead of keyboard/mouse, you either don't get updates or you have to pay for them.
Yeah, I'm thiiiis much closer to buying Left 4 Dead 2 on PC. Seems like way more of a better long term investment.
Free for PC and not Xbox? This is madness I say!
