Braid Creator Launches Teaser Site For A New Game: The Witness

Braid creator Jonathan Blow has a new game up his sleeve, and to announce it has launched a new teaser site for the game. This is a teaser site in the most literal sense of the word. The page opens on a cryptic poem, which can be clicked to bring you to the teaser site proper. With only a few scant words on a plain white page, there really isn't much to show yet.
The poem goes as follows:
Something amorphous and consummate
existed before Heaven and Earth.
Solitude! Vast!
Standing alone, unaltering.
Going everywhere, yet unthreatened.
It can be considered the Mother of the World.
I don't know its name, so I designate it, 'Tao'.
Compelled to consider it, name it 'the Great'.
The Witness, as the game is to be called, is "an exploration-puzzle game on an uninhabited island" according to the teaser site. What exactly you can be the witness of on an uninhabited island is a mystery in itself. On Jonathan Blow's Braid blog there is a little more information about the new game, explaining that it will be a very visual game, despite the complete lack of visuals on the teaser site. Considering that Braid was an absolute visual stunner, I'm not surprised, and am very excited to see what he's got cooking for The Witness.
But it looks like we've got a long wait ahead before we'll get our hands on The Witness. The only other information available on the teaser site reveals that it will "be released on multiple platforms -- whatever makes sense in late 2011, when the game will hopefully be finished." So we have a highly visual game with no visuals, to be released on an undetermined system or systems, that might be released in about 2 years. Hopefully Braid wasn't just a one-hit-wonder and The Witness will be well worth the wait.
Update: For your viewing pleasure, the poem from The Witness teaser site has been included.

Sounds more like... The Mystness!
Just had to get that joke out of the way.
