Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary
Dear Diary,
It was a pretty good week in Narnia, although honestly, it could've been way better. The town message board promised fireworks, but not until Sunday. Looking at my calendar, I see that there are fireworks every Sunday in August. Is that supposed to make up for not having them on the Fourth of July? Because it doesn't. Although I'll take fireworks whenever they want to give 'em!
I totally saw a scorpion down by the beach, but I got scared and ran away before I even thought to take a photo of it. I got my net out, but when I went back, I couldn't find it again. But I swear I saw one! Not that I'll ever catch it for the museum. I've yet to catch the giant spider it bites me every time.
Also, I finally bought enough crap at Nook's to get the points required to afford both the Hero's cap and clothes. 11,000. Took forever. Unfortunately, when I went to exchange the points, it turns out you can only get one prize a day. So while I wanted to show you my Link costume this week, it's going to have to wait until next week. Because you also have to wait for it to come in the mail. Sigh.
Once I reached 10,000 points, though, I checked to see what the biggest prize you could get was. Turns out it's a Mario Kart! It's seriously awesome, but I'd never waste the points on it because I know it's just going to be a prop that sits in your house and probably plays the Mario Kart theme when you touch it. I want one you can drive around town! (Although I suppose that wouldn't be very good for my flower beds!)
This week, Felicity moved into Ankha's old spot, and I mean that literally. She moved into the exact same location. It's nice, because it means I have a next door neighbor again. And for the first time, someone moved to Narnia from another town. In this case, she came from Ankh-Mp, and talked about my buddy Rob. I don't know if I've met her when I visited Ankh-Mp, but my memory is for crap, so maybe I did. She didn't seem to know me, though, so maybe not. She looks like an annoyingly cute character, but she came with the catchphrase "up yours," so she'll fit right in here!
In an odd bit of random business, I was exploring my bf's house, and since he never visits, I knew there would be tons of roaches swarming all over the place. When they skittered by, I took care of them, if you know what I mean, and after I sent a couple of ghosts to roach heaven upstairs, I was congratulated for taking care of all the bugs. Weird! (Wish I'd gotten a prize or something, though!)
The only new bug/fish I caught this week was a cyclommatus. Whatever the hell that is. All I know is that it has pincers that scare the beejesus out of me. There are way too many bugs in Narnia during the summer for my taste. Fall can't come soon enough. Where are the pretty butterflies and stuff? What's with all the giant, ugly beetles and annoying, loud cicadas?
Pascal showed up, and I think I already had the anchor that he gave me in exchange for the scallop I gave him, but I just thought his freaky hippie speak was especially weird this time, so I wanted to share. Seriously what is this beaver smoking?!
One last thing: Now that I'm not buying literally every single thing in the store every single day, I almost didn't buy this lovely loveseat. But on a hunch, I checked my catalog and found that I didn't already have it. Crazy! How am I supposed to have a complete Lovely room if I don't have the lovely loveseat! Not that I care as much about completing the set as I do about just making the gayest pink room I can!
Just wait until next week when I get my Link costume and adventure all over Narnia! It's going to be AWE. SOME.

Your room is LOVELY>....it looks great. I have several of those items but not together .... makes me hungry in an odd way...hehe
I have to buy this game, even though I'm still playing the hell out of Animal Crossing on GC.
and it took me forever to push felicity out of town ;)
